i would also go with 235/40/17 but I would go with Toyo Proxes T1-S, ive been reading up on them, and they are one of the best out there for the price. much much cheaper than the S03's

Don't get the Ventus Tires, their sidewalls are soft as hell and don't grip very well.

The Toyo T1-S are my favorite tire that I've had performance wise, but they wear out too fast for my wallet to catch up.

Falken's are a good all around tire, performance and afforadability wise.

hold out a bit and get a little better tire than the Wanli IMO.. even if you have to buy something else one at a time.

I'm with ATC2B - put a decent set of tires on the car. Even if you have to wait another month or two - get a set of Falken Azenis, Kuhmo Ecsta MX's, Toyo T1s's, Yokohama ES-100's, or something like that. The Pirelli's you mentioned are probably ok.

Check out www.tirerack.com - they have good prices, and have worked deals with lots of local installers to get them installed for cheap...

By the way - I love the wheels. Are they BBS, OEM, or a replica ?

That's for 2 tires.... not 4. My friend has those, the treadlife is insane, they last forever, even with burnouts. Traction is probably not so great being all season tread.

I have Wanli's on my Hamanns (previous owner put them on). I wouldn't have picked these tires, but they're actually not too bad! They are definitely better than my Yokohama Parada Spec2's and Kuhmo 712s. I was very displeased with my kuhmos and even more so with my overpriced yokos.

Wanlis aren't bad at all. Don't be scared cuz they're cheap. They've never let me down. Not too loud, reasonable tire wear, good grip, good price, and good looking.

Another good, cheap tire is Sumitomo HTRZII tires. I believe these were OEM equipment on some M cars. They are a good bang for the buck tire and I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.

i had 215/45/17 Wanli ZR's on my Accord and they were quiet and good grip, but only lasted a few months in the summer heat here in AZ.

Sumitomo HTRZII

best bang for your buck for sure. Agressive looking tread, they run rounded sidewalls (unlike Kumho and Michelin Pilot Sports) so you can run wider sizes with out rubbing
