I bought a 528iT because it had room for growing kids. The 7 remained in the garage for a week or so at a time. The battery would drain and die, had to keep the trickle charger connected. Posted a "feeler" in craigslist.com a week ago. Got a few bites, nothing too serious. Asking $27,500 with 78K miles. Getting the car detailed thoroughly, paint chips need to be fixed and m-pars brought back to mint condition. It's a tough decision to say the least. Like everyone else she's had her share of problems but she's still a great car.

I'm thinking about selling mine too. I bought the car thinking it would be my daily driver, day in, day out. But when I weighted the cost of winter wheels and tires vs. a used car and the added wear and tear winter has on a car I decided to go used (2 door Yukon GT). Picking stuff up for the yard etc..is a lot easier with a second car one doesn't care about.

Now, although I experienced no problems with the 7 I am anticipating them based on input from others and thinking about trading the 7 for an M Coupe. Have always thought it was the coolest looking BMW.
