So I've been thinking about buying this car for years but have heard that they are a nightmare to maintain, parts are expensive, etc...

Can any experienced or long time owners of this car verify the type of maintenance that would be required when owning one of these cars? Can anyone tell me what I can expect or what I should look out for and what could potentially fail? I realize that the car is almost 20 years old and that it would be hard to find a nice one but even so, I want to do a little research before I can commit to buying one.

Also what is considered "low mileage" for these cars nowadays?
