What is the range for peak power/efficency for these motors for the fluid temps? I would assume someone that has an engine dyno would know.

I'm also curious if anyone whose car is a dedicated race/track car has relocated the thermostat to where it belongs. :)
The thermostat being on the inlet side of things disturbs me somewhat.

TIA

Edit: WAAAAAY too vague. By "these motors" I mean the M50 and its brothers and sisters.

For water? or oil? or both?

I generally shoot for 210-220 for oil temps in a street car, but much lower for water temps. usually 180-190
Peak efficency is usually way way hotter than that. But whats safe and the most power in an M50?

Not that I know anything about these matters, but wouldn't your oil temps be largely dependant on what sort of oil you are using, and how temp affects its weight?

Oh, and to add random, unsubstantiated hearsay: 250 for oil temps seems to get people around here scared.
