I'm going autocrossing for the 1st time this year this weekend. Its also the 1st time I'll be on the RT-615s. :redspot

Anyone have any real life data on the 'correct' tire pressures for these tires on an STX E36 for autox?

In previous years, I would shoot for around 40psi all around on my 205/60r15 Yoko ES100s, but I was mainly concerned with not absolutely frying the outside edge (soft sidewall, less camber than I have now).

Here's my car:

1994 325i
H&R Sports/Koni SA
Stock (sport package) sways
-3.1 front camber / -2.0 rear camber
zero front toe / 0.25" total rear toe
17x8 rims w/ 225/45r17 RT-615s

Thanks,
Kent

The word on the street is that the 615's need a little more pressure than the 215's. Your camber is good, but your springs aren't, so I'd err on the side of more pressure for now. 40 might not be a bad place to start. Based on the pressures I ran with my 215's I'd imagine you will end up around 36 in the front and maybe a pound of two less in the rear, but that is a serious WAG. I'd start at 38 or 40 and work down from there.

Well, not a lot of input on this one, but I'll have an update on Monday as to how my ~10 autox runs turned out. (RMC BMWCCA event on Sat. and RM SCCA event on Sun.)

Any suggestions for a stocker suspension E36 M3 psi's for these tires.

I'm getting these real soon and will be auto-xing them next weekend.

I run 39 psi front and 36psi in the rear with the 615's.
