Well if you haven't read the CF Sunroof thread, many may know I am 6'7" and in need of more headroom when wearing a helmet. So thats why i am asking you for possible or real ideas that will work in a street/track car.

get a 1 piece shell, use VAC floor mounts with sparco/recaro/speedware sidemounts. my seat must be 4 inches lower then stock at the lowest settings.

And wouldn't that mean I need a roll bar?

i mounted my see directly to the floor, didnt even use vac mounts works awsome

somebody needs to put some pituitary hormone into Ron Stygar's water supply so he will grow a bunch and engineer us a solution to this problem. :D

I'd love to gain some headroom with the stock seats, but I don't think it's really feasible without some custom brackets and losing the sliders. Probably the only easy option for a mostly street car is something like Sparco Torinos mounted on the floor, unless you are willing to live with a shell

well a reason I was liking the shell is that it would be a great way to lose weight and to also get a roll bar to stiffin up the car for track/autox days. And I am all for that. And about the back seat no one can sit back there right no so theres only 1 point in keeping it and that is to tie the interior together.
