Hi guys, I just bought a 1985 735i, full leather etc etc , damn nice car. My problem is i dont have an owners manual, bmw cant supply me with one, & theres one thing i need to know... how to set the damn clock & date on the trip computer. Can someone pls explain to me in detail how to go about it. :help

Same procedure for any BMW with the same OBC: use a pen and press the recessed button to the right of the display. Use the 1000, 100, 10, 1 buttons to set the time, and use the S/R button to change between 24hr time and standard am/pm.

Most functions in a car are like the monkeys writing Shakespeare - press the buttons in enough combinations and eventually you get what you want.
