I finally had a chance to take this thing out of the garage and get some shots. I've had it for 10 days and only 492 miles on it so far.

Its a little dirty from sitting in the garage, but not too bad...

Looks great! You went with 18" SSRs? Great choice of wheels with a dark colored M3.

Yep, 18's. Now the guy I bought them from wants to sell me his 19's as well, complete with Yokohamas.

Decisions, decisions...

Black is simply incredible on that car.

Very nice. Former SSR GT3 owner here.

No shame in 18s, especially when they look that good. I know my car rode better and hooked up better when I had oem 18s (I just didn't care for the looks or the cleaning of them).

Trust me, when I get the coilovers or lowering springs installed, those 18 inch wheels will own all.

Thanks!

Weird... I took Suzy out in it tonight, and even though we were still in the break-in miles (540 by the time I got home), we could already tell this thing is going to be faster than my 02 SMG. This car is definitely a Wednesday car. It doesn't launch - it leaps.

Dizzamn...

Nice pics man! Car looks amazing.

Only 540 miles in 10 days? :confused I have had mine just about 5 weeks now and i'm at 2500. :D I could not keep my ass out of the seat. It's just such a treat driving it. Good luck with the car, next time some close ups!!

If I don't have it broken in by the time yours is ready, I'll just bring the Silver car out instead. :flipa :D

Thanks Adam - you wouldn't believe the attention these wheels get. The first night I had them on the car two girls were in traffic next to me howling at me like maniacs. The one girl pointed at the other and yelled, "She's in LOVE with you!"

nice...now get rid of those ugly rotors with BBK or Euro-rotros....got mine from pacific bmw parts deparrment 780 shipped

Chuck

Nope. Its just not important to me. The car stops perfectly and not one person has even noticed the rotors.

This car will be getting a complete new exhaust, lowering suspension, window tint, software flash, ssk installed, Okole seat covers, intake, etc, before I even think about changing the rotors.
