Im looking into an E30 M3, i currently have an E36 325is but i have always been an E30 fan, what price range should i expect for an 88-89 M3 with normal miles on it?

It is very hard to tell without knowing the condition/miles/maintence of the car. It can range anywhere from 9 to 20 thousand depending on a car. What do you mean normal miles? I would say <i>on average</i> they go for 15k. If you find one, post the details, and I can kind of help establish a price.

The market seems to be all over the damn place. I too am looking into a possible e30 m3 purchase.

175k on chassis - 70k on engine - 63xxx on odo <--- no receipts, but trustworthy
little bit of rust by the windsheild (drivers side) but repaint and body looks straight. some usual mods and upgraded suspension.interior was also swapped out for a newer one at some point, looks clean.
Trivia: What is this e30 m3 worth? I think fair value is $7500 -8000.

I would personally stay away from that car, unless you are planning to make it a track car. It sounds like it has had a fishy past.
