hey,

I am sure that this has come up before but every post or opinion I find is all about racing pads and that is not what i am looking for. i bought dustless pads and they are dustless but they squeak to high hell and it is embarassing how loud they are. Hell, if i heard someone pull up with that loud of brakes i would laugh too. Can anyone suggest some good brake pads that don't make any noise. I would love for them not to dust as bad as OEM pads but i definitely don't want any noise and still have good braking power. Any opinions are apreciated................. :help

I have axxis ultimates and they squeek sometimes but its not bad. Did you use the brake grease on the back of the pad?

I'm gettin hawk street pads next week, will let you know how those are.

I have some basically new Hawk HPS pads I could sell for 75. They dont dust hardly at all and dont squeak like the Axxis.

Just don't get the Hawk HP Plus pads, they squeal and dust like crazy. Just put some on the Miata. Performance is great though.

jason, i was in a crunch a few months ago and had to get some pads( i was down to metal and couldn't wait to order/ship) ,SO i got the wagners fron oriellys. 50 bucks, lifetime warratny, no squel and mostly hardly any dust. ray and mo have driven my car before, they can vouch for them. IMO great for daily driving. and i have about 7k on them now, still no squeking

I ordered some for the fronts but only going to use them at the track.

Really, I think i might have to try that for now. A friend of mine can get me a discount there as well. For $35 I don't think I can beat that. Do they provide go stopping power as well?

You might want to do some research on Axxis/PBR Deluxe pads. They are supposed to wear well and not dust much.

The Delux pads are quiet and dont dust much. Just dont use them at the track. They will get cooked.
