:lol you people make me giggle. I know a guy with a 500hp mustang gt. Was talking to him a while back. He was tellin me how his next "mod" was a rear seat delete. I chuckled. How is removing the rear seat a mod that people would actualy pay for. Unbolt it. Take it out. its done. Costs nothing unless you have no tools and if that is the case then you have other issues. If you really wanna get fancy you might get some carpet or something to make a custom cover to keep things pretty. I dont know how the e46 looks with the back seat taken out. You should be able to put something together for fairly cheap though. Take some pics when you do it for us.

The only reason I asked for the cost is perhaps id pay a small fee for someone to do it for me, because I seriously have not much spare time :embarrasm Unless I get the chance, ill do it myself. Will take pics

Yep. 37 for the seat back and 13 for the cushion/bottom. But I left my cushon in.

It takes literally 10 minutes to do. The only catch is you'll need to have a Torx (star) driver or socket to get the bolt out.

I take the rear seat out everytime I go to the track, then put it back in when I get back.

Just leave the car unlocked in a sketchy area with a sign in the window that says:
"The car is unlocked, I don't want my rear seat anymore" :stickoutt

Seriously, it's not a major time investment to take the rear seat out.

Same here. Simple. Anyone have the website that shows you how to for this man? I used the website the first time to do it, after that its easy memorization.
