Kind of a strange question here....but are the doors on the e46 M3 all pretty difficult to open?

I looked at one recently and the doors on both sides required some effort to open...ie. the handle had to be pulled pretty hard... :dunno

I have heard this many times from people unfamiliar with the handles. I usually put my hand underneath and pull upwards (instead of placing my hand on top and pulling straight outward), the handles move in an upward angle. Once I had the car for a while it became second nature and works well.

mine are tough to open. Like people always think they are locked

sometimes they have a difficult time closing, but opening is fine for me.

Mine are the same, just put a little white grease or WD-40 on the latch where the door opens, and it alleviates the problem for a while, especially since the weather is getting warmer now.
