The claimed fuel economy on this vehicle is 22 city and 28 highway. We generally get around 26-26.5 mpg.

Going to go on a limb here and say that the 90-93 models were probably the last well made Accords before they started to really cheapen them. Bought a 92 4dr 5spd new, kept it for 5 years, sold it for 71% of what I paid for it with 120k miles on it. 0 issues except for tires and timing belt. It wasnt a BMW but sure was nice to get 32-33 on the highway and I NEVER got less than 30 in the city. It was boring and not a BMW by any stretch, but did make for a good reliable, trouble free daily ride. Especially with the 3 BMWs that I was trying to keep running at the same time, lol.

I agree with you on that. I have three friends with newer accords, and they have more troubles than this car does. We are actually sad to let this car go. It's been fun, reliable, and fuel effecient. We just can't afford three cars in our family right now. I even mildly modified it with a short ram air intake, front strut tower brace, and rear lower tie bar. Just wanted to add a little to the vehicle's overall performance, and I accomplished it with just three things.

The radiator was replaced in October of 2004.
The front pads and rotors, the rear shoes, and the rear wheel cylinder were all replaced in May of 2004. The A/C was checked, flushed, and charged at the same time.
The tires were replaced with Toyo Proxes TPT and nitrogen filled in November of 2003. They have been balanced and rotated on a regular basis.
The water pump, balance shaft belt, timing belt, multirib belts, balance shaft seal retainer, crankshaft seal, camshaft seal, intermediate shaft seal, sparkplug seals, valve cover gasket, O2 sensor, the ignition coil, and pcv valve were all replaced in October of 2002.
