i was wondering if having a stress bar would make a difference in spirited driving. i've read that if your not running stock suspension or rims that it makes a difference. i have aftermarket 18" rims and bilstien shocks right now, (springs are coming soon).

anyway hope you guys could help me out here. i want to get more handling out of my car, so anyother info would be appreciated too!

oh yeah, if any of you recomend them, please inform me where you got them. :D

I have the Racing Dynamics stress bar on my e34. It does make some diffrence, but doesnt make as big a difference as sway bars. Also I like the look of a nice stress bar in an engine bay.

before you get that stress bar, consider the springs first...as opposed to soon. 1. Rids of that 4x4 fender gap in the front, 2. Much more noticable handling difference from stock :)

then get that stress bar...or sways first then stress...haha...

Yes its worth it if you run larger than stock wheels since bigger wheels place more stress upon front end parts. Might cut down on those random squeaks, grinds and creaks our cars make as they get older. Adding one to my 2001 530i cut down on a creak I was getting.
