Where's the picture of the housing? I had won new angel eye halogens with all chrome housing from procarparts off ebay but I backed out because I'd already decided to get chrome trim for my headlights and tails. I also added chrome door handles and a chrome trim piece above my license plate. I love chrome! Here is a picture of my 1977 BMW 530i (sold to my brother)with fender trim added. The rest is stock and it looks awesome.

Yeah that's exactly what I'm talking about. I had almost got those and then I just got the trim for mine. I had already ordered the trim and then realized it was overkill to have the chrome inside plus I decided it actually might make the car look cheap. I can think of so many GM cars with all chrome insides now that it looks too normal to me. But I had ordered the housings for the angel eyes and projector beams mostly. Procarparts was selling the same setup in a black housing as well but when I told him I wanted to switch to the black he wanted more money(20.00US)which I thought was just a money grab so I didn't bother. I'm very happy with my lights as they are now so that's fine.

My E46 had what they called Ti kind of a brushed and it didn't look GM. I'm a litle suprised it has never come up.
