a little history on this car:

i am the second owner. i bought it 2 years ago in june. it had 64k miles when i bought her. these miles are all highway. since i've bought her she's only seen 2 winters (protective wax was always on the paint- i'm a professional detailer). when this guy bought the car, he just used it as a weekend driver. all of his kids were grown at the time, so there has been (literally) 5 people in the back seat.

the Supersprint muffler is starting to get louder than i like so that is all i would say needs to be done.

maybe, we can talk about it. i would rather ship yours here if its all the same. im not a big long distance driver.

i did the swap at my shop, so as far as records go i have made out invoices for the work ive done and the services ive put on the car. (YES)

Car has 137k+/- engine and tranny had 67k but i rebuilt the engien last year and it now has 7k+/-.

-what number owner are you?

carfax shows the car had a accident with the second owner and was repaired. the car shows to have had a good repair. the car rides handles and tracks fine.no worries at all, i was surprizedd to find this out recently when someone ran a carfax for this sale. i have to stress it was repaired well.

as far as your car as long as it looks the same as it did when you took the pics im sold. the body and inside are all i need to be right. im a BMW tech and can give it all the service attetion it needs.

would you be able to tell me a little more about the accident? what happened, where was it hit, was there any frame damage, what needed to be replaced?

oh btw, those pics were taken this past sunday. the interior shots were taken 2 weeks ago.

i'm very interested in this deal, but the only reason i'm a little uneasy is:

1. i'm not a bmw mechanic and if something goes wrong i won't know how to handle it. AND if something does go wrong, engine wise, i don't have any other car to drive.

2. the accident. although if you bought the car knowing it was in an accident, and you being a mechanic and still bought it, i don't think anything would be wrong.

just by visual inspection the front bumper,fenders,and hood were replace. the frame shows no ovious sign of damage. the way i look at it since the accident showed up on carfax, then it was handled by an insurance claim and was repaired, inspected and given a clean bill of heath. all i know is it has no drivability problems. if you have any other question feel free to call me and we can go over them and hopefully arrange for the trade.

no i dont but i can get them . the radio will not go with the car as it is an aftermarket unit. i will be leaving the four corner speakers and the amp that runs them. so all you will need to do is put another radio in. althogh i do have the stock radio if you want to have it installed after you get the car home.

This may be a little odd, but if you guys go through with the car trade, I have a trip coming up to NYC middle of next month. NJ could be an easy side stop to drop off one car and bring another one back.

I know it's a lot to trust somone else with two beautiful cars like this, but I thought I'd at least offer to because it would be a neat little trip with such cars.
