How do you guys hook up the guage illumination for your guages? I have been trying to wire mine up so they are switch activated (each guage individually) as well as a couple other things but such as a fuel pump, boost controller and a sender for the one elec. guage I have in the car (oil temp). I have it all wired up to what I would have thought to be correct all though even when i dont have anything hooked up to the switch to control it still blows fuses. I am using 12ga wire for power and ground with 16amp switches all wired into a fuse block where each power gets its own 30amp fuse. It appears to be grounding out somewhere but I cannot locate where. thus brings me to my question. where do you all hook up your guage illumination in case i decide to just ditch the switches for the illumination and just try and get the boost controller, fuel pump an sender to work. and if anyone has any ideas as to why i am still blowing fuses with the 3 switches i do have I would really appreciate anything you've got and as detailed as possible so that way i dont get something messed up.

Thanks
Tom

I tapped into the dimmer switch wire to light my VDO water temperature gauge.
