for those e39 540i owners, what size tires are you running with your 20in wheels. I'm thinking a 255/35/20 would work on the back but what about the front? Will a 245/35/20 work? I have had the front strut recall done so i have the xtra supports mounted on my struts. will the 245 clear them? thanks in advance for the help

Depends on what width wheels you're running. Common 20" setup is 9" up front w/ 245-30's and 9.5 or 10 rear w/ 265-30 or 275-30. 275/30 rear will rub if suspension is lowered, and may even rub on OEM Sports susp. in extereme situations.
