View Full Version : for sale
boodie1821 04-12-2005, 05:17 PM hey,
im listing my 1991 5spd 535i for sale. it is black on black with upgraded BMW rims. it only has 53,000 miles. it has a spoiler, chrome door trim, chrome exhaust, side skirts, and a rear valance. the is absolutly no damage to the car. it looks great. i was wondering if you think i would be able to get 10,000 for it. i know kbb only says about 7, but i think my car is in better condition then that.
i tried to attach a pic, but it said it was too large
mihai77 04-12-2005, 06:10 PM $10,000...? i think it is a little high, even if the miles are low.

KB535i 04-12-2005, 07:01 PM :confused thats a lil steep. She better be showroom condition.....oh and with a $3,000 dollar check in the glove box :stickoutt
boodie1821 04-12-2005, 07:03 PM she is deff pretty close to showroom condition, and i forgot to mention has a $2000 stereo in the trunk.

And you are selling this gem due to "health reasons" or "baby on the way"?

What he said.. ^^^^
tjn182 04-13-2005, 09:25 AM Yep, that's overpriced. Even though it's in good condition, it's still over 10 years old and outdated. The amount of aftermarket work usually doesn't matter unless it's very unique (like a turbocharged M5). I say you might get $7k out of it.
sdwhitney 04-13-2005, 11:30 AM ummmm. I paid 8k for a perfect condition 95 540ia.
I think you might want to see what people are actually seliing their cars for, not what they are listing them for.
I see on www.cars.com, that there is a white one same year as yours with 20k more mileage listed for $9800. Maybe that is how you got your price. But that guy will never sell it for that.
KBB.com lists your car in good condition at 7K private party value, unless you are selling this at a retail establish you should not even think of using the retail price.
I hope you get every penny you want out of it, but if the price is too high, you won't even sell it.

KB535i 04-13-2005, 01:02 PM Crap :stickoutt I keep coming back to this thread cuz I want a manual 535 instead of my auto 535.....you better post some pics. I just might be interested. Just why are you selling it?
boodie1821 04-13-2005, 02:46 PM im selling it because i just bought a '92 m3 coupe. i tried to attach some pics, but it says there all too large.
