Hey all...Since the weather is going to be nice and it is time for us to take our cars out from under all the covers and garages I figured I would post a meet for the 1st of May...This is through the Capitol Chapter and I thought perhaps it would be a good for all of our modded BMW's represent at this event. I have been to this show the last few years and it is always a good turnout...the Porches are amazing BUT maybe we can all show them up! Lets represent...post if you are going to attend...I don't believe there is a charge for "people's choice" and even if there is we can all line up anyway...more information to follow.

Tochenzo has a good idea...If you guys want to meet (I am driving in from Annapolis) why don't we set it up? Toch, can you get us a central place close to the highway (NOT too early! prolly around 9ish???) where we all could meet? I have posted on several other boards and have recieved some good replies...This should be a good turnout! There are always at least 30+ Porsches and BMW's with about 20 MB's...The Porsches are usually modded out to the hilt!

Toch post as soon as you come up with something and then we all can work the details out.

BTW, I did get an email from Richard who is running the show and he has indicated the more the merrier. There is a charge for "People's Choice" but it is really cool to enter. I am entering mine so if anyone is interested in that too that would be good.

I got an idea from another member off of another site to meet at FairOaks mall...66/50 exchange. I think it should be done like this:

Fair Oaks Mall - backside/back parking lot of Sears - meet time: 8:30am

Departure of Fair Oaks 9:00

NO stupid stuff (burnouts, etc) or you will be asked to leave - this is going to be a higher class show.

Arrive in convoy to show around 9:15/9:30 giving us time to line up cars that are not going to do concourse or people's choice. This also gives time for people who are showing to touch up car - an hour should be plenty of time to do this, etc...

REMEMBER if you are showing you will want to pay ahead of time or pay a bit more show day!

HA HA...OK, look above at previous post as I did an edit...

where is fair oaks mall? and I am def coming now check out that 58 speedster!!

take route 50 east and u should see it, its right next to where it goes onto 66

YUP! If you are coming off of 66, take FairOaks onto 50 and it is the second right (with a sign) that says "FairOakds shopping center...follow exit around until you see the Sears and the BMW's!
