On my way back from checking out a condo in Buckhead today I was on 400NB cruising down the road at a pretty good clip. I was admiring that I can get 32.4mpg travelling around 90mph. As soon as I pass the MARTA station and get into the 65 zone, there was a nice bike cop waiting for me.

92 in a 65.....BUT no ticket. I was asked to get out of the vehicle and he was asking me some questions...mainly why I was speeding, and I told him about my wonderful gas mileage and it is a shame we can't have the speed limit there with these crazy gas prices. He was pretty cool joking about how ATL traffic just plain sucks and it is for my safety that I shouldn't go so fast because while I may be in control...how about the dumbass that switches lanes without looking and no blinker. Then my eye catches something....his bike is a BMW. Turns out he got it 10 days ago and he talked about how it was worlds better than the Harley he had before. Finding this common ground he said slow it down, gave me a warning, and we parted ways.

Awesome.. God smiled on this coupe today too! Going 400 South bound behind a long line of vehicles.. I decided to go over and swing around them. Look to my right look back.. The truck in front of me was doing a brake check at 70 MPH.. Swerve over cross into 2 lanes (which I saw was clear a second earlier) and the car fishtailed a little. But I never lost control of the car. I look over to my left the guy in the truck is looking right at me with 10 car spaces in front of him. He did it on purpose! :mad

Ask Adeel why God hates verts and you may believe that God loves coupes. I also believe that God loves Sedans because it is a sign of little ones coming (even though that might be a while for me). :D

Traveling down 400 Saturday afternoon from 285E to 400 S, I hit little over 135 by the time I joined 400. At the toll booth put the change in and gate didn't open. Backed up a bit, when this SUV comes behind me, and a old guy comes running out saying "stop, stop, stop stop". Anyways, I roll my windows down, and he comes up all red and stuff. Very very angry, says "is there any reason why you were going 100". I was like at first "actually I was doing WAY over 100, then I was like man not a good idea", I said " well "I wasn't paying attention". He pulls out his GOLD badge, and says "I am gonna let everyone know up ahead and take your license plate down and make sure you don't speed again". "I said "I won't". And that was it. I didn't speed that day again. :buttrock

Was it his personal motorcycle or a decked out cop bike? I didn't know GA/Atlanta would pay all that money for a BMW motorcycle.

i've already gotten pulled over 3 times in the 240 for one of my headlights being out. twice right down the street from my house, once in tucker. no issues with any, cops just looking for trouble. guess i have to fix the light switch...

Decked out Cop bike. Fulton Co. police. Brand Spankin new BMW bike. It really was a pretty badass lookin bike.
