View Full Version : Local shop good with install of S50B30 or S50B32 engines?

Friend of mine blew his S50 in his 95 M3. He's looking to upgrade to either an S50B30 or S50B32, he'd perfer the B32 though. He's found an S50B30 setup for $6,000 which isn't a very bad deal at all. If he were to have it shipped up here to Baltimore he would need a very reputable shop, good with these Euro engines. Anyone have any recommendations?

Oh and before anyone says "No don't waste time with a Euro engine."... It is his choice, he wants to be unique, not another OBD1 S52US swapper.

Best in town for that (by far) is Mental Werks (Brant).

But I do have to say that a built US spec motor would be cheaper and faster and MUCH easier to maintain.
