Its usually at the wal-mart or the krispy kreme up in Columbia, HUGE shopping center, lots of cars, a REALLY good time, went up there last weekend, was gonna try to get some bimmers up there, were only two last weekend. its a bitt of a drive for me, but its really worth the 60 miles :).

some racing would be hot, im kinda curious how well my car will manage in a flat race. I went to this giant import show today and all i kept thinkin is "gee...i wonder if i could of beaten that guy..." lol. Parking lot deal will creep up to the verge of boring after an hour of sittin. And with the suggesting of racing, my vote would be meeting at capitol raceway in crofton ($10 bucks to get in). There you can sit, chat, eat hotdogs, and watch the 1/4 mile test-n-tune events OR RACE if you wanted to. Some of them 1/4 mile runs are hilarious!! Last time I saw two dumptrucks racing each other, another run was with two school buses!!!

How far is Columbia from Capitol? It would be cool to hang out at the parking lot for 30 minutes or so then go to Capitol. If it would be too late I'm down for just meeting or just going to the strips though I'm not running my car. :nono

Yes, I know, there is some redneck in me. It's funny, all my talk about Capitol and I only get there 1-2 times a season. Last year I think I went 3-4 times but that’s rare for me.

I just think it’s a fun way to spend a couple hours before going out on a Friday. Andy, if you go, you HAVE to run, I mean unless you’re scared? :) The other thing I like about Capitol is that it's at night so I don't get so sunburned (auto-x school this weekend fried me).

BTW Andy it was cool seein you again at the street races on Guilford last night - there were a lot of bimmers there, glad you brought out your 325. Once you get the NOS installed I think you'll be able to take me, LOL. That’s why my pizza was late! The deliveryman told me that he tried to get to my house from guilford, but a bunch of RACERS told him the road was closed and that he had to find another way. :mad

Jimmy Cone is a place. The guy used to be a MD State Trooper but retired. He holds small car shows and has cruise nights that gather a good showing of people and the cops usually leave everyone alone. Its a pretty relaxed showing. I'll get some info on it if you want it.

My girlfriends grandmother died and this evening was the viewing. Upon trying to leave the viewing we found some asshole in a SUV or truck did a hit and run on her car. Its bad enough it wasn't driveable. Fucking asshole didn't even leave a note or anything and naturally nobody saw a damn thing. Had to call a friend at Fort Meade to come pick us up in Towson. Trust me I would have rather been looking at cars then putting up with the way my day turned out. To the sub-human who hit her car that hard and drove off, I just hope that someday some other POS like yourself does the same thing to your car, you or a loved one and then drives off.
