View Full Version : FEELER: 18" CSL rep's with 225/40/18 Bridgestone Potenza re750
LeftCoastBias 04-09-2005, 05:38 PM i just ordered these rims from mike@modbargains; a sponser here on the site, and came upon some BBS's that were my first choice for a great deal from a friend.
my buddy is unloading a car with the bbs's on them, and i dont think i can pass up the great deal.
the wheel's aren't even on my car yet, they're still at the shop- i am supposed to pick them up next tuesday in LA...
i paid $1455 including tax, but not shipping (as it was a pick-up deal).
would anyone be interested? i'm not looking to make any money, just hoping to see if i could get something close to what i'm out on them...
here's mike's site; http://www.modbargains.com/product.asp?pf_id=bmw%2De46%2Dwheels006
here's the same rims installed on mike@modbargains' car; http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=324205

DiScoTeknix 04-09-2005, 06:52 PM biggidy bump for the lcb.
LeMansGTS 04-09-2005, 07:01 PM mike quoted me 1350 shipped with brand new tires, are these replicas different from the ones he is selling to me?
without tires he said $749 with staggered 18 inch x 9.5...for brand new rims csl reps
are yours different?
LeMansGTS 04-09-2005, 07:03 PM in fact according to the link you hyperlinked the rims are
"The set of wheels is only $749 and are available through my site here" accodring to mike.
are you sellng brand new tires as well with them?
i will take them for 650 shipped, let me know, i am not trying to lowball, since the original seller sells them for in the high 600 dollar range for the non staggered which yours aren't

what tires were you two talking about? and you are not calculating tax either...
1455 includes tax. there's nothing different about these, they are his. in fact, he still has them. i didnt have them shipped because i'm moving to los angeles and i'm just going to pick them up... but right after i ordered them, my friend's wife decided to give him permission to buy an m3...
i'm not sure what it was before tax, but i'll bust my calculator out.

oops, i must have linked to the staggered set, i'll fix that.
yeah, if i sell the wheels, they'll be brand new tires that havent even seen the road
edit: i checked the links- you're not reading them right... the link to his site is the proper set, which sells the wheels only for 699; non-staggered. and that doesnt include tires...
if i sell them, i'm not going to for a 1/3 of what i paid when they havent even seen the road yet. i'll consider reasonable offers... but thats not reasonable.
1/3 of the price + shipping? sorry. good luck with your shopping!
LeMansGTS 04-09-2005, 07:06 PM sorry, i didnt see they come with tires....good luck with the sale
LeftCoastBias 04-09-2005, 07:10 PM sorry, i didnt see they come with tires
oh, its cool...
i was thinking... :confused like wtf? that is not even an offer!! :rofl
yeah, this is for rims and tires, neither of which has seen contact to a car or road yet!
LeftCoastBias 04-09-2005, 07:12 PM oh... and i would have not been offended by the offer you made, if it was rims only i had! :D
LeMansGTS 04-09-2005, 07:31 PM well if you consider parting the rims then let me know
thanks and sorry again for the confusion

sure! no problem. you let me know if you change your mind and want tires too.
i'm not sure i'd want to do a seperate sale of them, and i dont want to hold on to them for 40 thousand miles! lol
LeMansGTS 04-10-2005, 04:27 AM yea dude ebay sounds like a better option for you, but like i said, just contact me if you ever feel like splitting them up :)

eBay scares me... before you know it 20 companies will be making HORRIBLE replicas of our replica :eyecrazy
Hey Joshua, it might help if you tell them what tires it comes with, because that really matters as far as pricing goes :)
Hooptie157 04-10-2005, 12:08 PM Will these fit on an E36 M3 will rolled rear fenders?

LeftCoastBias 05-06-2005, 08:25 PM i think those are 18's with a rolled fender and drop.
i see that the link no longer goes to the right thread- but send you right back to this one :embarrasm
