I learned yesterday that I'm moving to Florida and not Texas. I had a job offered in Dallas, but my boss countered by telling me that I can work from home.....any state. So since the wife and I have relatives in Florida, that's where we're going.

I posted a thread in the Florida forum to find information about builders down there. That was yesterday and the thread remained the last post until an hour ago!!! Whats up with Florida? There is never anyone on the forum, its totally dead. I'm going to miss the good times here and I hope I can say hi from time to time. BTW, the car sold to someone in Minnesota for the asking price. He got a good deal! Once I get down there, I may get a White turbo M3 if is still available or James' old car while I wait for the GT 500.

They're too busy actually experiencing life outdoors, unlike a lot of the Mid-Atlantic folks who spend most of their time online.

People here just like to be experts about stuff and talk about things...not really do stuff. :rolleyes

:D :D :D

Heh, I actually noticed the same thing when I had some questions about Miami. Theyre probably out on the beach drinking mai tai's.

We were looking at houses in Florida. North of Tampa specifically. It's amazing what you can find for $125,000. 3 bedrooms, 2 car GARAGE!! Although the pay scale sucks so it is all relative. You can do nicely on a MAR salary.

where in florida are you moving, we have a house im Palm Beach. I love it there, and will definately live there after college. Instead of mud, theres sand; instead of snow, theres afternoon rainstorms; instead of soccer moms and excursions, there are 575m maranellos and maybachs. Long live florida haha! Hope you enjoy it there, and you have the support of a marb/ florida bf.c member!

I'm looking in the Jacksonville area...west or south. Thanks for the support.

Steve:

I saw a few houses north of Tampa in a place called Spring Hill. The houses are beautiful indeed.
