Just wanted to share my experience with you all. I met Karl (BF Name:Zeit00) at the local BF Andretti Speed Lap meet; he mentioned he works on BMWs.

A week later, I had trouble with my Trailing Arm Bushing. Karl met me half way to rent me out the tool.

Just prior to my departure for Europe/Asia for a month, my diff starting giving me problems. I left the car with Karl and had excellent correspondence with him over the course of the month. I got a bunch of work done (short shift kit, diff rebuild, brake ducts, inspection 2 work etc.) and everything went well. I was VERY happy with the GREAT service, FAIR prices and above all EXCELLENT work. :redspot

I also used Karl last week. My left rear wheel bearing was fubar'd. The entire wheel had about an inch of play that moved up and down. Not knowing about that, for god knows how long, and driving like a mad man on I-75 scared the crap of of me. I called Karl up and he was able to see me in 2 days. I had this same problem on the other wheel 1 1/2 yrs ago and I was charged $300 in labor. Karl charged me only $180 for the work and he also gave me a ride back to my job and picked me up when he was done! Couldn't ask for anything more. Thanks! :thumbup:

Hey Karl, this is your old boss. Glad to see you've opened up your own shop and moved on. I'll put the past behind us! I hope you were just kidding about taking people's cars out for joy rides and taking their parts though! Anyways, glad to see you're sober and clean now :)
