Well yesterday after i got home from work. It was such a nice day out i had to go for a ride. I drove by astoria park around me and saw that alot of people was hanging out at the strip. There was one kid with a 88 mustang and everytime i see him he is always reving that thing at me. So i was cruising and he was right on my tail, so i was like lets test out my new uuc products stg2 fly,stg1 clutch ssk stg3etc. we get next to each other at the light i look at him he looks at me and i'm like you wanna go. The light turns green and i drop it from 4600rpm. I had some wheel spin for like a sec but when i hit into 2nd i had him about 5 cars going into 65mph. I slow down and he keeps going. I high beemed him to say good run, but he kept going and didn't say anything.

I raced his friend with a gs-r and took him too.

I have a 325i/w some m3 conversion. but still 2.5l engine.

lol, he must've barely had any mods on his 88 5.0. :)
Mustangs have great potential, but if somebody doesn't mod them, they blow chunks.

Must have been a nearly-bone stock, not-very-well-kept Fox body. Those cars, even in mostly stock form, would haul buggy up to 80 mph or so, and then fall off rather sharply from there up into the triple digits. They are all about some torque and bottom end. Either he was not a very good driver or spinning tires. You've got a 2.5l car making what, maybe 170 rwhp? (correct me if I am wrong) and the numbers just say he should have put up a much bigger fight. Anywho, regardless, good run and its always nice to finally catch up with someone you've had your eye on for a while. There's a pesky VW with a fully built motor and nasty turbo setup Ive had my eye on since last summer, I'll find him in the right place eventually. :D
