I got into both FSU and UF. Glad I picked FSU for their College of Communications.......and I grew up a UF fan due to my whole redneck family going there.

i got into all schools in Florida. glad i went to FSU.

Sure if you want to party in dorms or frat houses, I don't recall there being a 'club scene' there really, just a few bars here and there (Is the late night library still there??). Tallahassee has absolutely nothing going on, believe me I grew up there, went to school there, and graduated from FSU there. I was just in town a few weeks ago visiting family - other than a few more strip malls here and there and a few roads that are finally 2 laned instead of 1, I didn't see much change from when I moved away in '97. With all that said, it has alot more going on then Gainesville... :devillook

There is less of a club scene here than in Gainesville, but that doesn't bother me one bit I'm really not into clubs. I enjoy the bars and the many many house/apt parties. I'm not in a frat either but those kids do have fun too. I recently heard from a friend that Late night Library was going to close down, but i'm not sure if that's true or not.

I agree about the good place to raise kids and go "to school". If you're in Tallahassee for school there is plenty of stuff to do at all times. There are constantly sporting events, parties, movies, all kinds of stuff going on focused at college students. I wouldn't prefer to live in Tallahassee much longer than it takes for me to graduate just because once you aren't a student anymore i can see how it loses its fun factor. Hopefully i'll be lucky enough to find a job back in south florida where i'm from. Overall FSU/Tallahassee is a badass place to go to college and i'm very glad i picked it for my school.

But honestly I'm with you, I'm not much of a clubber, never really was. Tally was always just bars, the halfway decent dance halls or 'clubs' were usually open for a few months during football, then closed in the spring (lol). Late Night Library was 'the one' that stayed around.. Pretty good record if it's still open, I used to bog that place in the mid 90's many Saturday's.

My room mate last year now goes to FSU, he's a tall lanky korean named U-in Lee. He's a freshman, I don't know what classes he is taking, but when I visit him and stay at his place, you guys should 'coincidentally' have a meet, so I can see what the Florida BMW scene is like :redspot

late night just closed this semester. i was really pissed bc i loved going there and it was a sort of FSU icon and lots of alumni ask about it and know it. on the plus side lots fofo new clubs opened.

Tallahassee is not a good place to go if u want to see the Florida BMW scene. its not a good representation of the Florida scene. go to South Florida, East Coast for a good time.

I am not in Tallahassee any more I graduated in December 2004. But I know there are a few modded BMWs in Tallahassee. Go to Cool and Deadly Performace on lake Bradford. I used to run with them. Just ask for Mikey. I know there is still a red S/C 318ti in Tallahassee. They do some riduculous work, on imports and german cars. I have gone to the tracks with them several times.
