View Full Version : e36 325IS vs Camery
Omniflipatron 04-08-2005, 12:48 AM OK so I was just running to the local pharmacy to pick up some soap tonight, and on the highway I passed some early 90s Camery that was doing like 55 on the highway (i was going around 65 or so) when the guy suddenly whips into my lane, flies right up on my behind me, flashes his brights a few times, then goes and tries to pass or race me. I wasnt really up for a race but figured ah what the heck, no ones around and I'll get to where I want to a little quicker. So I keep up with the guy until around 95 or 100, casualy look over at him, and see its some really young kid, like he just got his licence and he is giving me the EVILEST glare ever, and is still trying to pull on me. At this point I just floor it and within a few seconds im a few car lenghts ahead of him and i slow back down to around the speed limit, take my exit, and buy my soap.
giterdone 04-08-2005, 08:12 AM lol, young kids don't care what car they're driving, it is a race car no matter what. :stickoutt

i can admit that i used to do this when i got my lisence a year and a half ago. i dont know if you consider 17 to be young but im done with that. i got my first ticket in my moms infiniti i30. my friend got clocked at 89 in a 60 and i got 103 in a 60 but the cop was nice and gave me 89. i seem to drive my moms car more... spiritedly than i do with mine. but yeah no ticket yet in my car with the mods and stuff (and hopefully i wont ever but we all know that cant happen) but i do in an auto i30. oh well in behalf of retarded teens i apologize for acting like that. im proud to say ive over come this.
ps. we raced at night when nobody was on the tollway, except a state trooper :(

oh don't act like I'm some 40 yr old guy scolding kids. I'm only 20. But I know when I was 17 & 18 in my prelude I did EXTREMELY dumb stuff in my car. Raced everywhere, surprised I'm still alive. For some reason when i got my bimmer, I straightened up alot more .I'm glad. But yeah I would still consider 17 young. But I still consider my age young also. :)
