:confused who has XM or Sirius?

I'm curious as to the reception you are getting? I went with Sirius and installed everything to the top of my car around the window and into the trunk as touted to be the 'best' for reception. (Damn good thing I didn't place it on the back deck near the child LATCH system like others suggest otherwise I'd be getting REALLY shitty reception)

So my deal is when I'm on the southside everything is perfect (no friggen skyscrapers every 200 feet and your not even in the city!) :stickoutt

I do lose signal for about 1-2 seconds after going under a bridge, this is annoying but I guess something that is norm from my understanding with SAT. radio. However....on my morning drive once I hit Northside near the HomeDepot HQ (Near Atlanta Road, can't remember the exact exit) I start dropping in and out constantly...so damn bad I just switch to friggen CD or radio. I get this almost constantly from there all the way over to 400. Constant seeking of the signal and if it does find it I'm lucky to get 15 seconds....

Is this friggen NORMAL ??? :help (If so...SAT SUCKS) :confused If not....any ideas whats wrong or how to test? I'm thinking the rcvr is not the issue, otherwise I'd never get signal, then the antennea...well same thing...remember...on the southside I get great signal except sitting in my garage or under a bridge.

My XM never drops out unless I'm under solid tree coverage for 2-3 seconds or more, or under a really big bridge (going under I-85 on Sugarloaf, etc). It seems to buffer for at least a couple of seconds. My antenna is inside my rear window.

You know you could just get an iPod and fill it with music, then wire it into your car.

my sirius is almost bulletproof!

Very rare droppages besides being stuck under a bridge in traffic.

Same here on the BMW the Rover has the antenna on the roof and the reception is not as good as the BMW
