Hey everyone, this is my first time posting here, one of my buddies told me about this place and it seems like a really cool community. Anyways I just got a used 2002 M3 6speed (not smg) for graduation (its a little early but Im not complaining). Ok on to my story, only 2 weeks after I got this car I got KILLED by an S10. I was coming home last tuesday and I had just got off the 101 freeway and was heading towards lake pleasent road and a sharp looking s10 pulled up next to me and the guy was like 40 years old so I didnt think anything of it, until we hit a red light at 83rd ave. The guy looks over at me, (He saw me admiring his s10 DOH!) and he nodded so I was ready. He then revved his engine and I said to myself oh shit :eek: ! I sounded like a supercharged V8 so the light turned green and I stayed up with him in until mid 2nd gear and he was GONE :( , so I decided to follow him a little to see what he had under there. Just my luck he pulled in to the albertsons parking lot and I parked next to him. We both got out and I said "What the heck do you have under there, he replied. "A supercharged corvette Z06 engine, I just had it put in" :eek: and I about shit myself when he lifted the hood. I said nice run and kick ass truck, we shook hands and I went home. Wow. :buttrock

ahhh, yep that will probably be just enough power to beat ya. One thing, in the main forums (Kill Stories is in the main forums) watch the profanity. The mods will get onto ya. I'd say just edit your cusswords with more kid-friendly words, like poop, turd, or crap; maybe even fesces or deficate if you want to sound smarter or dumber. ;)

Wow thats probably a scary setup in that little truck. Sorry your first loss had to be to an s-10 but at least it was because of obvious reasons lol. Congrats on your present you spoiled little...um I mean nice car haha :stickoutt

Thanks guys for the welcome, yeah Im still pretty bummed that I lost to an s10. Z06 has 405hp stock if I am not mistaken, add to that it being sced I wonder how much it has...

i got my butt handed to me by an older chevy blazer typhoon, that thing was sick. still it is a respectable death.

There is an 800+ rwhp Z06 in Tulsa. Scary.

I had something similar happen to me. I was in a 1970 Camaro with a mildly modified 454 (my first car, built by me), S-10 pulls up and revs, thought he was kidding, needless to say I was dumbfounded when he anihilated me. Turns out it had a Lingenfelter 383 in it.

Yeaaa..I used to own an S-10, had thoughts of doin the ls1 swap in it. That S-10 with the ZO6 SC in it will definitely run 11's no problem on a bad day. Those trucks are sick with 8's. As for the typhoon, it's real hard to beat them, I'll have one of those one day. AWD turbo 6 is an unbeatable combination. Those are the fastest stock production trucks ever. I would have loved to see that guys S-10. :buttrock
