bimmer95 04-06-2005, 09:25 PM Shark Injectors
Prices on Eurosport High Performance's Shark Injectors went up by $20 on 4/8/05! Beat the price increase by ordering soon. I've got every Shark Injector fitment either in stock or on the way. I stocked up on them before the price increase, so I'll offer them at the old price of $349 shipped until they sell out.
UUC Double Shear Selector Rods
UUC ended their introductory pricing on the popular 189mm and 198mm DSSRs, but I stocked up before the price increase ($125). $100 shipped!
UUC Evo3 Short Shift Kits
UUC rasied prices on many of the Evo3 kits a couple weeks ago. I have all Evo3 fitments in stock, a few at the old prices. All are in stock and ready to ship immediately via FREE FedEx 2-Day Air.

///franksm3 04-06-2005, 10:24 PM bump for a good seller, stromung kicks ass by the way.

It definitely is, but you've got to pay to play :)
slvrathlon 04-06-2005, 11:08 PM How much for the Stromung system for a 328is?
Does it make a difference per perf / sound wise if one were to order the M3 system vs the 328 systems? Or are they the same?
I am also looking at getting The ZKW Ellipoids (sp?) but not with the DDE's, personally can't stand them...
Anyway is there a solution for the ZKW's w/ lighting whatever... looking for a great light without the DDE.
Hopefully I am making some fricking sense!
Ha thanks.

You can get the ZKWs or DJ Autos without DDE halos, no problem. Add an HIDS4U or Xtec HID set and you'll swear that your stock US spec headlights were nothing more than a pair of flashlights duct taped to your hood ;)
bigbilly 04-07-2005, 12:01 AM Add an HIDS4U or Xtec HID set and you'll swear that your stock US spec headlights were nothing more than a pair of flashlights duct taped to your hood ;)
Amen to that - swapping to my ZKW's I swore I'd been driving blind before.
And yeah, I'm paying to be playing. Looks like that boat I was going to be saving for just got pushed out a month or two...
themadhatter 04-07-2005, 06:13 AM what temp are the HID kits? are these for all fitments?
thanks,
Ron
bimmer95 04-07-2005, 09:17 AM what temp are the HID kits? are these for all fitments?
4500K, 5000K, 6000K and 8000K. All fitments are available, though the H4 and 9007 hi/lo kits are more expensive due to the added complexity.
themadhatter 04-07-2005, 09:27 AM :confused HID high/low kits? I'm interested. can you point me in the right direction to learn more and pricing? these would obviously be for a non-bmw fitment.
bimmer95 04-07-2005, 09:44 AM :confused HID high/low kits?
Most HID retrofits are single capsule (the HID equivalent of a filament) only. On the H4 high/low kit, a solenoid is used to change the capsule from the low beam position to the high beam position. The 9007 high/low kit is really trick, Xtec managed to fit two separate HID capsules inside the same bulb assembly! Those high/low kits are $440 shipped, but you can also get "low only" versions of either for $325 shipped.
Jattah 04-07-2005, 10:28 AM I have a few questions
1. Are these the sam products sold by Um.nitza?
2. I did not notice them on his website, is he no longer dealing with Apexcone?
3. Can I get a picture of the Titanium installed and on to see what the diff is between the other 2 (plus and enhanced)
4. I really like the city lights in my headlights, its always eye catching since most headlights don't have them, is there anyway to keep them on after installing the halos.
5. I get nervous when I try to install things of this nature, do you have or can you recommend anyone in NYC that can install these for me at an affordable price, or if any forum members that have done this many times and wouldn't mind assisting me with this mini project.
Thanks thats all I can think of right now.
bimmer95 04-07-2005, 10:42 AM 1) Yes
2) Correct
3) Very soon
4) Not a problem
5) I know of a couple forum members that could likely help you out, probably for beer and pizza. I don't know of any official shops in the NYC though.
Andres 04-07-2005, 10:51 AM I love understeer. I'm going to keep an eye on this thread. I'm forming a shopping list.

Can you ship these via US Postal Service? I am in the military stationed overseas :help
bimmer95 04-07-2005, 02:08 PM Shouldn't be a problem, but check in with me next week when I have them in hand. I'll be able to make sure that they're within USPS' strict length/girth limits.

They should be the same size as a UUC catback, right? Or not?
Do you guys still sell the UUC TSE's?

The exhaust itself is the same size, but the packaging varies.

The E36 TSE has been discontinued, the replacement RSC36 is due out VERY soon.

Fair 'nough - I will check with you next week on the Stromung.
I have a UUC System U V.2 on my E36 328i ---- it is exceptionally loud and angry and demonic and I love it --- but I am looking for something a li'l more civilized for my E36 M3 --- not quiet like a Supersprint, but something, say, 70% of the volume of the System U.
Would the Stromung be that exhaust? Or would you recommend something different?
bimmer95 04-07-2005, 02:29 PM Stromung's system should fit the bill quite nicely, it's quiet while cruising and at idle, but screams at WOT... just not quite as loudly as the System-U.
Low Level 04-07-2005, 02:37 PM Sweet - thanks - I will check with you next week then!!
C ///M 04-07-2005, 08:15 PM So if I order a stromung exhaust for an e36 m3 with staggered 76mm tips right now from your site, it won't ship out until next week? If that's the case, then if I order next week it will ship out at the same time?
I need a very quality exhaust that isn't loud. I wanted to use a stock e36 M3 rear muffler for my US s50b32 in my e30, but the factory e36 m3 muffler is just too big to get the tips to flow right with the rear bumper I'm running. How much smaller is this muffler than the stock unit? From the pics on your site, it looks like it will be a very easy fit onto my car. I'll have to modify the mounting hangings and such, but I think the rest should be cake. What are your thoughts?

Yes and yes.

I'd recommend getting the Stromung E30 system instead, the hangers will already be set up correctly and the tip angle will be correct as well. Since you're likely using a custom center section, possibly with larger pipes, I could likely have them custom build one for you with larger pipe stubs sticking out that you could custom bend pipe to. It might take a little longer, but it would be easier to bolt up and cheaper.

I am running the 3.2 stainless exhaust manifolds and an e36 m3 center section and am also using an Av3 rear bumper (replica of e36 m3 rear bumper and diffuser, see pic below). I think just using the setup made for the e36 m3 would be easiest, and I really want the staggered tips. Modifying hanger to the muffler takes 5 minutes. I will have the rear muffler mounted first for perfect position and then attach it to the center section and secure the center section accordingly. From there, the pipe is cut right above the oxygen sensor location, a perfect size, shape, length, etc.. pipe is welded in and then the downpipes are re-welded to the other end for correct connection to the exhaust manifolds (if you understand what I'm saying). What day do you plan to have a Stromung E36 M3 rear muffler with staggered tips in stock?

bimmer95 04-07-2005, 09:18 PM Ahh, okay. Stromung does use the same cans on both, so you should be fine. I'm just waiting on a shipment confirmation from them, hopefully they shipped out my order yesterday, if so they should be in next Tuesday or Wednesday.

Chris,
I didn't know JC has the SI for car with M50 manifold. When did this come out?
Why is there such a big price diifference vs. the regular SI for $350?
Tony
bimmer95 04-07-2005, 10:39 PM I didn't know JC has the SI for car with M50 manifold. Why is there such a big price diifference vs. the regular SI for $350?
It's not just for the M50 intake, it's tuned for both the intake and, more importantly, M3 cams.
blackm3 04-07-2005, 10:52 PM So this new SI is tuned for the M50 manifold, CAI and M3 cams..not aftermarket cams? Any dyno done?? I am interested but I like the see some results.
TIA
bimmer95 04-07-2005, 11:52 PM The 2.8L Schrick cams are almost identical to stock M3 cams, but are much more expensive. That's why Eurosport built their 2.8L cams kit around M3 cams.

Alpine003 04-08-2005, 10:00 AM Are the lighting product prices listed including shipping?
Please pm me a total price for Depo PnP headlights w/ HIDS4U system to 60171. I don't need it pre-installed or anything. Are these also in stock and ready to ship?
Thanks.
BTW, the ssk is working out good. ;)
bimmer95 04-08-2005, 10:11 AM I have a set of the Projector36 headlights with DDE in stock, I have HIDS4U H7/6000K on the way here, but I should be able to get a set shipped direct to you from my distributor so that they'd be in your hands the same day as the headlights. The package price would be $554 without DDE, $604 with DDE, shipped.
C ///M 04-08-2005, 01:19 PM Ok, so I ordered an EVO III SSK and the DSSR 198 a day before this thread was made, but they haven't shipped it yet...
So I'm thinking I will cancel the order with them today and order both those parts and the Stromung from you, all for an E36 M3. Are your SSK's the same as theirs? They mention they changed all EVO III SSK's after 6/04. Which ones do you carry? They also included questions when I ordered the DSSR, like what shifter lever I was using and if it was an EVO III, did I order it before or after 06/04.
Anyway, should I just wait for their stuff, or can you make it worth my while if I order all this stuff from you? I'm tempted to wait on them to guarantee that I get the latest parts and a DSSR specifically for an EVO III SSK, post 6/04.
bimmer95 04-08-2005, 01:26 PM The change in the Evo3s last year was the thickness of the bearing spacers, all the Evo3s I have in stock currently have the newer spacers. If you already had a pre-6/04 Evo3, UUC would include the newer spacers with the DSSR.
If you order before ~5pm EDT, I can ship the Evo3 and DSSR today via (free) FedEx 2-Day. The exhaust would ship as soon as they arrive here.

Wow, you always respond so fast. How much do I save over UUC? Well looks like I just canceled my order with them. Too bad they couldn't deal with their business as fast as you. I'm placing the order @ oversteer now. Should I just order the exhaust monday? Sorry for all the questions, been spending a lot recently, need to organize myself.
bimmer95 04-08-2005, 01:33 PM How much do I save over UUC?
~$35 when you factor in the price difference on the DSSR and shipping.
C ///M 04-08-2005, 01:38 PM I just saved $38.12 on the same exact parts ordering from Understeer instead of UUC.
Better prices, better service, better shipping.
Understeer = :buttrock
(PS. Make sure I actually put down the 198 DSSR and post 6/04 EVO III. I'm pretty sure I did.)
wushucivic 04-09-2005, 04:40 AM how long are the prices on the DDE plus and the stromung exhausts going to last?
bimmer95 04-09-2005, 11:53 AM how long are the prices on the DDE plus and the stromung exhausts going to last?
The DDE Plus and Titanium prices aren't going to change, but the DDE Enhanced prices are only good until they sell out. The Stromung exhaust prices may be going up by ~$10 in the next month of so due to increases in the cost of raw stainless steel.

m3avrck 04-11-2005, 06:01 PM Chris, would it be at all possible to do a Stromung GB on exhausts? I know there is an AA one about to start but I'm still in the debate mode as to which one I really want. Don't want to miss that one but also don't want to buy the wrong exhaust.
C ///M 04-11-2005, 06:21 PM I would really appreciate a stromung GB as well, as I'm just waiting on word from you, as soon as you got them in stock, I had planned to purchase. If I can get a discount through a group buy, that would really help me out, but it would have to be fairly soon.
bimmer95 04-11-2005, 06:41 PM There won't be a Stromung group buy soon, right now is their busiest time of the year and it's enough trouble keeping up with the normal orders. Throwing 15+ on top of that at the same time would be a bit much. It's not like we'd be able to knock 20% off the price or anything huge, at most you'd be saving $45 or so. Maybe this fall we'll put something together again.

I'm 95% sure that the size would meet the USPS "large package" requirement. The Priority Mail rate would be a little over the normal $35 shipping rate, but I'm willing to eat the difference if you take one of the ones from this batch :)

DDE Titanium adds a reflective back plate to the Enhanced style halos. The cold start fix halos will be available this summer, there will be an upgrade kit available for current DDE owners at that time.
bimmer95 04-14-2005, 01:04 AM I have 6500K DDE Lightning Titanium kits on the way now. They're a great match for the popular 6000K HID kits, while 8000K halos match very well with 5000K and 8000K HID bulbs. The 6500K halos have a slight violet hue, the 8000K halos are bluish white.

bimmer95 04-15-2005, 08:59 AM what is the cold start problem? does it affect the DDE plus ones?
In cold weather the halos may not reach full brightness until heat from the headlight bulbs warms up the inside of the headlight housing. All CCFL based halos are effected. XtecUSA has designed a new system to make the cold start issue a thing of past, that will not be available for a few months, but when it is an upgrade kit will be available for current DDE Lightning owners.
