It was a bit easier this time and made some more friends. They put me on the 7th floor this time and there werent cells but quandrants of bunkbeds. I liked this system a little better since there was a little more access to the common area with the tables and 13in TV and because of the openess. Last time the cells were smaller than the inside of my car and if you had claustrophobia, you were fucked. Also, I cant sleep if there is dead silence and the people talking (some singing the blues, some joking around) helped me sleep a little easier. In addition, I wasnt so worried about buttsecks because I could cry for help to the attendant in the middle of the floor.
Here is some new lingo I learned:
Cadillac - A full ciggarette. One ciggarette can land you a full tray of food.
Rollup - a self-made ciggarette using tabacco from breaking the ciggarette up and rolling it using tissue. Usually, 2 ciggarettes can make 6-7 "rollups." One rollup can land you a cookie or a side of food.
"do you manufacture?" - This asks if you have a job or if you work.
Teardrop tats - I kinda knew this before but some people might not. If a person has a teardrop tattooed on thier face it means they have killed someone. Two teardrops mean they've killed two people, etc.
And just for shits and giggles, here is a letter I wrote to my _____ from jail on saturday night:
