ok here it goes...
I was at the body shop giving them my bimmer for a small job, and my bro and his friend comes to pick me up. They drop by in a fiat uno, yes u heard it right, a fiat uno. So they are driving me home and this bimmer shows up on the redlight at our right side. A 330i to be exact. The bimmer driver was about his mid 20´s and his friends too, they´re watching the car and laughing a little bit. Well I admit it, it looks like sh*t, but it runs like a chipped evo. So they are laughing and watching the driver and such on, btw the driver owns a 98 skyline GTR V-spec with 470hp under the hood (G-tec). His car is being modded at our garage so his backup car was the fiat. So the light turns yellow....green and off we go. They get totally dusted, and im in the backseat laughing so hard I thought my ribs were going to enter out of my mouth. They pull up at the next light and watch us like :eyecrazy .
We used my G-tec on the fiat and it did 0-60mph in 5,8 sec, crazy car. The only bad thing is that it looks like S*IT, but a new transmission cost 50$ at the junkyard. And the car itself cost 1000$....everything is really cheap, too cheap.

anyway good run and I had a good laugh...
missing my bimmer though.

very very good idea...=) i´ll do it when I buy a new evo, a street legal one.
probably sometime this summer, i´ll run it against a M3 too.

Losing to a sleeper is like getting shot down by a fat chick...you get your hopes up then all of a sudden her fat a$$ goes wobbling away. I got beat by an old VW Bug on the freeway last month. It had a V8 and it was unbelievable how that thing took off.

Hang on - There was a Fiat Uno Turbo that had 130bhp , weighed s*** all and did about 0-60 in 8 flat. So modding that wouldnt be such a great surprise! But if it was the N/A models like the Uno 90s, which had like maybe 50hp and did 0-60 in more like 14seconds , then to make that down to 5.8 seconds, then DAMN

As I said before...we tested the car with a G-tec, so I was not talking out of the blue. It actually is a very unrealistic car, but no matter how fast it is, it´s nothing u want to be seen in :)

yeah unless it has some killer top end, should be doing like 4 secs to 60 on an 11 sec quarter, i'm guessing its more like mid to high 13s

When the dragstrip openes up for the competitions I could do a correct test on the 1/4 mile...
And yes the evo is a mocking bird, a very special one living in the high society tree´s in the land of the rising sun I believe. it ´has a very disfignicant sound, it sounds almost like a smaller birdie, "kokooh, kokooh"

It looks exactly like that, it´s even the same color. If I would own one I would turn up the boost and the fuel pump to give a little more gas to the engine, you could get a good 270hp out of it for less than 500$, just take a trip down to the good o´l junkyard :)
