howdy,

My clutch died, and I am faced with the prospect of getting another flywheel, as mine has 120k miles on it. I am leaning strongly towards another stock dual mass unit as I have a turbo. However, since everything is out I am very tempted to go with a ltw unit.

But.....I am concened aboiut the noise.

If anyone has a ltw flywheel installed that I could hear here in Atlanta, I woulld gladly meet you to get a listen.

Please call me at 404-787-9690, reply to this post, or send an email to hamw[no spam] @ comcast.net. Of course be sure to remove the [no spam] part.

Thanks!

Ham

Just got mine installed a few days ago. I will give you a call later this evening. Horns also has a set-up he is happy to show off...at least to me he was. :stickoutt

I've got the Dinan one if you want to hear it. Mine usually makes the most noise after I really been running it hard for a while and I let the clutch out at a light. If I'm just cruising around at less than 4K rpms and I come to a stop and let the clutch out, its not really that noticeable.

I have the TMS Lightweight in mine running royal purple tranny fluid and mine is as quiet as stock. Even after hard driving, the only thing that makes noise is the knocking of my vanos
