Finally went out and got the parts for the install from the local Hank Aaron dealer down here on the southside. Believe it out not they FINALLY matched the best price I could find on the net.
Anyhow...Went ahead and mounted it on my roof running the wire around the window trim strip. :help God that was a PAIN.
Other than that it was ultra EASY install. Reception is perfect except of course it sucks you don't get it when your in the garage or some other covered structure.
Did they hassle you when you tried to pricematch someone else? Who did you PM to? Circle BMW or Pacific BMW? I am going to order the sirius unit as well and was planning on getting it from circle bmw but rather get it local if they PM.
You got a name of the person at the parts desk?

I'll have to check the receipt perhaps it has the sales guy's name on there, however he did tell me they only had 1 left in stock. I'm sure it will be replaced soon of course :rolleyes
Anyhow go to Global Imports and see Collin. Take your price sheet from circle with you, he'll match it as well. Or he'll come so close to it that it's worth it to you, unless you feel 10-20.00 difference doesn't cover the anxiety of having to wait while Circle ships it to you.
I 'usually' get my items from Collin and so far each time he's matched Circle everytime. Even now with the Sirius stuff he was willing. However me living on the southside and Global parts closing at 3pm yesterday and the fact it was 2:30 and I was still on the southside, laugh...my 'wants' said let's give Hank Aaron a try (I usually hate these guys) and suprise....for once they didn't tell me to walk if I didn't like their price. (which typically has been near double what Circle's prices were)
I like the Sirius so far, except I wish it got reception while in car washes, in the garage and I'm sure I'll find other places.

Oh and I forgot to mention.....for $500 you can activate Sirius for the LIFE of the receiver. This equates to ROI in 3 years 3 months.
They will move the 'lifetime' service over if vehicle or rcvr is 'stolen' otherwise it seems like it's a case by case basis. But in general if the rcvr electronics decided to fry on you, wham that's it you're done...no more Sirius unless you cough up more dough.
I'm seriously considering doing it...but thinking about it and looking for others experience with it.
