I love this color, it seems to go better with the orange turn signals than the other colors do.

I really like the front, when I start seeing the backend body lines, I think of a Mazda 3.

The front does look aggressive at that angle...good photo. But the side looks like a friggin Audi and those backs lights...no comment. The whole back end is just sad. I seriously think some sick Mazda exec infiltrated the design team for the back end...

How does the side look like an Audi? If anything I would have thought that is where it looks most like classic BMW.

Just saw that last night, thought it looked very good in person. It was very comfortable, I'm assuming it was a sport pkg. due to the thigh extensions on the seats. I can't wait to drive one. I still think I'd like it better in a darker color. My biggest complaint is the big chrome strips at the top of the kidneys. Don't like them on the 6 either. Hopefully some different rims as well, something with thinner spokes. Can't believe I forgot my camera. :(

I've spent the last two days reading everything (and I do mean everything!) I can get my hands on and have completely chugged the koolaid.

I think it took BMW two swings to figure out this new style of theirs, but this car gets it right.

I still like it. It seems to incorporate too many familiar lines in the back, which does not individualize it like the other years. Anyone figure out what the diaphragm is in the last picture of the exhaust?

Unfortunetly, if i wanted a car that big I would look into an older or newer 5 series, other than that not too bad!

I just saw them in person today at the 3 across america in san diego. They look good in person IMHO. The red is great though!

GTO, an american looking car?
It was originally the Holden Monaro and styled for the European market in Australia.
I beleive most people's problems with the GTO is that it looks too European.

Anyhoo, I actually like the red pics. I was thinking of getting it in white, black, or red. Those pics are moving me towards red.
The front looks amazing, the side looks Audi-ish (since Audi usually advertises their S4 in this colour) and the back is just another rendition of the 6-series back. I kno the back doesn't seem appealing in the photos, but it actually looks much better in person! :)

No there are others pics in the link I posted that are not in this thread. Did you check the second page of that linked thread? All i was saying was that the very first pics posted in this thread are way overexposed.

I know there were more, that's why I asked you to be more specific. There are a lot of pictures in the thread you mentioned, but you didn't say which pictures in the thread gave a good representation of the color- every set of pics looks different.

Ok, now you are specific: the pictures towards the end of the thread up to the date you posted your reply on here.
Thanks for your input, those shots are quite different from the ones posted here. Electric Red is a rare color, many people haven't really seen it, so it's good to have people who have decide which pictures do a good job.
How do you feel the newly posted pics on that thread compare to real life? They look pretty nice.
