Ok... bad news :(
I'm not going to be able to attend the meets anymore...
I got a job offer back home in Michigan that I have decided to accept. I really wasn't planning on moving away this soon, but this is the kind of opportunity that only comes around once in a lifetime. The position will require that I start work during the week of the 25th of this month, so I will be leaving Oklahoma on the 22nd.
I'm still going to get the shirts ordered for the club, but I'll be mailing them rather than delivering them at the next meet. I may be able to drop them off to Jed or Brandon or someone on my way to Michigan so that they can disperse them. I'll just have them collect the cash and send it to me if they'd be willing to do so. People in SLC and elsewhere, I'll arrange a payment method. We can discuss this later...
I've enjoyed meeting everyone down here. Great bunch of people. I hope the Michigan people are as enthusiastic as all of you. I doubt it’ll be the same, though, so I’ll probably hang out in this topic while I’m up there.
Since my departure is only 3 weeks away, my remaining time down here is going to be very busy. I've got to have someone come in to finish the remodeling that I've been working on, and I have to finish up some significant projects at the office. I also have to pack and coordinate the move.
I'll sign on when I can. Later tonight or tomorrow I'll be PMing all of you who are on the shirt list to confirm your orders. The shirts are being ordered on this coming Monday and I assume the printing should start around the middle of the month.
As far as the website, I may still be able to do it for you guys if you'd like. The only problem is that I'm going to be busy while I'm up there. Alternatively, I'll be happy to transfer the hosting package to one of you if you will build the site. The package is paid thru the next 11.5 months (at least)...
