I think it should be mandatory to post prices on products in the GB forum. I hate this PM or email for price. Why is it so hard to post the prices in the thread? I would think it would be more attractive to customers if the prices were already listed. I know I skim through the wheel GBs and blow them off because there is no price listed.

Thanks for posting the suggestion. We'll move this over to the Group Purchase forum for discussion and consideration by those directly involved in creating the Group Purchase threads.

I agree 100%. Every private forum member is required to post prices clearly for the benefit of everyone else. I see no reason why vendors should be exempt. And yes, people will probably be more inclined to actually check out the product once they know what price range its in.

I second that. If members are require to post the price than vendors should too. If a pricing sheet was listed there wouldn't be a need for so many individual posts asking about specific sizing, etc. It would really clean up many of the threads and make it more attractive to possible buyers IMO.
I've never seen a forum post a GB without prices aside of this GB forum on BFC. It's quite strange. Like one particular thread in the GB forum that has never even been a GB because the GB prices are not offered. It's strictly there for advertising purposes of the company.

Yea I know EXACTLY what you're talking about One....
In fact, when I complained about it in that thread, the vendor PM'd me with a request to edit my post because they felt I was unfair in my remarks.
Thay also said "I'm a Supporting Vendor. I PAY to advertise on bf.c and I can do whatever I want..." :rolleyes
Needless to say, I went to a vendor that is not a supporting vendor on bf.c AND I got the product I was after for $20 less.
I would also like to add the suggestion that if a "Special" has changed in price, that the first post be edited to reflect that price change if it is different than the Title of the thread so you don't have to read thru 115 posts to find out the price has changed.... Or edit to say the Special has ended or GB has ended (most have been doing this though, but some have not).

I'm sure all dealers would like to, but some of our suppliers have very strict contracts where we can't post prices on a public messageboard. For instance, HRE called me the other day & politely asked me to remove my pricing for HRE wheels, because some dealers were upset about it.

Dear All,
We post our prices everytime we can. Actually I believe most of our post do have prices. in other time, like what R Revolution says, there are other factors involved.
Feel free to check out our posts. :)
Have a good weekend

WERD...you don't want to lose accounts due to dealers feeling like they are being undercut.
