View Full Version : CARSHOW APRIL 17TH!!!!!!!!!!! @ UCONN...Calling all cars!!!
BealeAss 03-31-2005, 02:17 AM The UCONN Car Club is going to be holding our annual Show on April 17th in W-Lot here at the University of Connecticut. Had over 150 cars enter last year and over a thousand people in attendance for the show. I'm the V.P. so if anyone has any questions feel free to pm me or email me, I'd be happy to help out.
The entry fee for the show is $5. There is a minimum requirement of 5 cars to be eligible for the best team/club award. There will be many different classes of cars so everyone is invited that has a love for cars. Get as many people as you can to come down! 200 cars are expected but we can handle more. :D

The show is located in a parking lot called "W" lot. Here is a link to a map of campus http://visitors.uconn.edu/webmaplg.htm. As you can see its located right off of rt 195 in the northern corner (h-14 on the map). If you arent sure how to get to Uconn you can go to the link here: http://visitors.uconn.edu/directns.htm.

hold up.. wait a minute, i didn't mean to hijack this thread. what i ment was there's another meet going on not too far away... bajesus miles away!?? i made it from Northern Jersey to Balitmore in 3 hours and i had snow tires on so i was limited to 100 mph tops.
anyways, the reason i posted that link is because that's more like a sticktly BMW meet and to avoid the last big german car meet at ikea which was anything BUT that. there were more idiot rices there doing what they think were burnouts only to be toasting their clutches.. fucking morons. total waste of time for a lot of people. i figure i'll let everyone know about a bmw-only meet so we'll avoid all that but since everyone is taking this the wrong way, fuck it. sorry.

It's the lot right at the main entrance of uconn, just before you come down the hill there by the big farm area and towers residence halls

yeah, i've been pushing him to do it...we'll see. i'll be there to observe, and i'll offer up a plug or two on the radio next week to get people out to watch.
