sound like good prices...

dont offer these in 17's? 1) ASC Type II replica - starting at $499 for 18s

also what sizes, like 17x8 etc

umnitza
03-31-2005, 01:45 AM
TII sorry, no 17s.
only 17X8 size is an M3 E46 replica and we're not planning to get those at this time.

Depending on the wheel, it could be 18X8 or 8.5 or even 9.5
same for the 19s.

Are you selling these wheels in E36/46 offsets and in an E24/34/38/39 offset? Will you offer an assortment depending on the application? More specifically, are you selling the M-pars in E36 offset? If so, what kind of wheel widths and their offsets are you selling in 18" and 19" diameter? How soon will these be available, I'm definately interested in a set of M-pars in staggered 18/19" E36 fitment, and possibly a set of Type IIIs in staggered 18" E24 fitment...

how much are Work Wheel Mesh Replica in black? Fit on e36 m3 95?

umnitza
04-01-2005, 01:13 PM
Ok folks, some more details:

1) we will have a 19X9 wheel for display at BimmerFest
2) we plan on having these wheels available in a variety of fitments
3) we will have to do "head count" of the type of wheel you want, so we can go ahead and get them.
4) we expect 1.5 months for arrival - just in time for Summer Driving Season.
5) We expect everything to be in your hands by end of May.

We need to get a list together of which wheels and which cars.

So here goes:
1) Name (last only or first only not both)
2) Wheel style
3) Wheel size
4) Car type
5) Finish Requested
6) Payment Type Predicted. Due to the lowest prices we're offering, we're going to have to ask that it's either eCheck (paypal), or a direct paypal to a specific account only (this allows you to use your CC, Bank, or other form of payment) but keeps the fee structure low for us.

So, here's an example:

a) Smith, ACS TYPE IV REPLICA, 19X8.5 and 19X10, E46 330i, Silver, eCheck (paypal).

We will begin taking payments as soon as 10 people put their names down.

Well, im down for 18X8.5 all the way, or a staggered set with the width and offset similar/the same as a set of OEM E38 M-Pars.
Can you get with your supplier and find out what size/offset will be offered?

Also, Do the painted silver wheels come with the polished lip? (ala Moven)
And, what would be the upcharge to have 100% polished? and is there clearcoat applied after polishing?

I think thats enough questions for now :)

NeverLeaned
04-14-2005, 09:26 AM
Check out aaarims.com for a good list of options for your car (Most will not recommend purchasing from them though) But it can serve as a good base for your hunt, especially if your looking for replica rims.

As for the rims listed here, Im not sure all of these are available for your E36. I've been looking for a set of staggered M-Pars for our cars for more then a year now, and this is the first i've seen of them........ they may not be the appropriate offset for our cars.

If you don't want replicas....... then take time just browsing through peoples sigs here. There are tons of members with beautiful rides and all sorts of different style rims. Drop the member a PM and ask what he has :)

Good luck

High quality factory reproductions without the "replica weight".
Weights are as follows:
17s - 8.5KG, 18s - 10KG, 19s - 11KG, 20s - 12KG

so if the conversion website i used is correct, then the 18's would weigh in at a little less then 19 lbs?!?!?! there are some forged wheels that arent even that light. how strong are these? i mean can they take a jersey road beating?

btw, the M-pars looks shhweeeet :buttrock

umnitza
05-25-2005, 03:13 PM
At this time, we're going to import only 3 of the wheels mentioned here.
We're in negotiations with the MFG now.

1) 2 wheels will work ONLY for the E36 and E46.
2) 1 wheel will work for all E39s and E60s (probably many others along those lines.
3) A fikse 5 spoke replica that isn't really a replica but looks similar and it will be in a variety of offsets.

Thanks, we'll keep you posted:)

1 wheel will easily meet the $499 for 4.
The others will be $699 for 4 or more.

ok guys here's the final update:
we are getting the typeIII with the rivets in hyper siver and hyper silver with the machined lip, we have a good amount of them presold, and as of right now we have ~25 sets in each finish that are not spoken for, we may be able to increase quantity we just dont know for sure.we will accept payments shortly as soon as all details have been worked out with our source.
i will be posting final pricing shortly, pre orders will qualify for a significant discount, these wheels sell for ~$830 a set, as a pre order special we are thinking in the $715-750 range. :eyecrazy
please post your name ONLY if you plan to pre order at the lower price, specify the finish you want and methode of payment, we prefer echeck by paypal, echeck order will recieve priority.

1 car turbo 332is . fk coilovers. pretty low car. tuckin rim on my 19" acs in back. need the drag radials to fit this car
also posssibly buying a 95 m3 with stock suspension. obviously would fit this car. would probably get eibach springs very soon

well the typeIII's were getting are 8.5" wide, so plenty for a 245 tire, maybe even 255 without a roll.e36

hehe. Sooner would be better. My Pilots are down to the wear bars front and rear. If I'm going to put a set of mesh's on, I might as well hold off on getting new rubber for the double spoke 2's.

Yes, we're still working on better.

...yes habbie, it's me again ;)
i just wanted to ask once more, approximately when will the wheels be available to be shipped? i also want to get some ellipsoids from you guys, and ofcourse it'd be easier (and cheaper) if they were shipped in the same order.
thanks

Hey Matt, Habbie

please clarify,

1. Will there be any work mesh rims available??
2. (Maybe stupid) I have always referred to this as "gunmetal"; what is the diff between "gunmetal and hyper siver. If you have pics please post.
3. Do you any pics of rims with Machined lip so I can see what it looks like.
4. I have 97 m3 coupe I want 18.5 X 18.9's (Staggered) if possible with (whichever polished hyper silver w/machined lip or gunmetal interior w/polished or machined lip. Sorry if I am confusing you, but I am confused, I know the mesh would look great on my car, but I just need some clarificaiton, I would need them by end of July into August.

Thanks

p.s. If you have pics explaining my question please don't hesitate to post them or email them to me.

and the absence of NHL hockey has led me to a life of crime...i haven't tipped a waiter at boston pizza (old game-watching hangout) since the lockout :help
lol. well, as long as you are still active on this thread habbie, how much would shipping to this postal code in vancouver cost? V7C4G5...and exactly how much will the ACS type III hyper/polished lip cost?

habbie
07-01-2005, 02:38 AM
not sure on both counts yet.
they may ship from Florida, cali or montreal it all depends on where we get them shipped to.
i would guess california would be best in your case.
as far as price goes, i can tell you our wheels will be priced bellow most other vendors, but where our wheel shines is in the quality, finish and most important of all, weight. remember these are made in a small(very small)factory using german machinery and extremely strict QC procedures.

Okay Matt & Habbie,
I along with many others here need to know where you guys are at with this group buy, for me its because, I am putting my car in for body work next friday, and I need to know if the situations with these rims will be done by then so I can order and have my rims for my car when the body work is done. If not I can look elsewhere, again I want 18x5 for the front and 18x9 for the rear, the workmesh rims in hypersilver. Please let me know. Thank you.
