Does anybody know the cost of the fine for an "inadequte exhaust" ticket in the state of new york?

i would go fight it. Just say your car was inspected with the exhaust on, and it passes. Obviously it is below legal sound db or they would have failed me.

80 for fine and surcharge by me,i got 17 of the tickets having a header and hust a pipe all the way back.i prolly coulda bought another car if ya add them all up.

so 80 then? i called a number and thats what i gathered it was,most of the 80 was court surcharges. what was yours actually for? mine was for inadequate muffler

I have a stromung which is ironic cause its so quiet..he was just being an ass and giving me a hard time, i'm actually trying to pickup an even louder exhaust
