It actually looks great in person, pics don't do it justice. I am awaiting cf door handles, cf m5 trunk spoiler, and cf dash kit.

Nice, would cover up the scars and wear and tear of my B-pillars...I like....but, not to be pickey :shifty but are the front passenger side door pieces miss-fitted? Looks like a space?

Good eye! I already contacted the company and asked that they replace the whole passenger side as I am having a fitment problem. I am awaiting for the new pieces. Drivers side fits perfect though.

Glad to hear, let me know how it turns out...its a Bimmer, no room for trim gaps! BTW, yes the drivers side looks great!

Not really feeling it. I think CF looks out of place on a car of this age (actually on most cars). Plus I think it clashes with your parchment (it looks like) interior. Definitly don't do CF interior.

But if you like it, thats what counts!

I am still partial on the cf interior trim. If it looks good when I get it, I will put it on. If not, I will return it. Thanks for all the positive feedback guys!

Pattern not in the same direction

On the Drivers side the pattern goes from the front of the car down. F\\\R

On the passenger side it goes from the front of the car up. F///R

yea, i was going to say the passenger side fit is not very good.

i got some similar ones, except they come with logos on each side, where you can choose from acs, bmw, alpina, hamann, and racing dynamics. didnt like the bmw logos, so i chose the hamann ones to match my wheels. got them off a e46fanatics group buy (the seller just happened to have one set of e34's) a few months ago for very cheap.

i basically got them because my pillars looked old and worn.

anyway, i think they go great with black and with tinted windows.

i'm still looking for an cf hood if everybody every produces a wide grill one for a reasonable price.

white525i: thanks! i think your car is coming along very nicely!

Ted K: not sure, i'll have to check. answer: yes, the pattern does go in the same direction.

Ugh. Bare, nonfunctional carbon fiber is SO tacky.

Sorry man; I guess I just don't get it.

c'mon, they go the same way your just looking at it fron different sides. the maker would have to make one side backwards for then both to fall back or fowards, and its not like you can see both sides. lloks good!

where did you get them?? i could use something else since i already have a cf hood

Thanks Stuntride! I got them off of ebay for $71 shipped in about 2 days! The company is called Autotecknic. They have excellent customer service!

Picture172 drivers side the pattern goes down from the front.

Picture 169 passengers side the pattern goes up from the front.

Looks like you received two sets of driver’s side pillars. That’s why the passenger side does not fit real well. All that counts is if you like it. I like all the garages.

You got them switched somehow. I almost did the same thing but I realized it before I stuck it. Thank god I test fit first. Your right though, it does look much better in person. The light reflects off the cf to much in a picture. Where did you find cf handles????

What the hell is rice about it? Its extremely subtle and you cant even tell its there untill you get close. Rice is not subtle.

I don't see what's rice about it either. I have been adding aftermarket parts to cars for MANY years now, and believe me, I have seen just about all the rice products out there. This is not rice :nono

Umm......The Sky is yellow..............
Sorry man, not feeling the sky

As far as the pillars, I am not sure. Maybe when you get the rest of the stuff in it will look in place. Knowing that you are doing more makes me have an open mind.

But I am with ya man. To each his own, and keep doing what you like :buttrock

Thanks sdwhitney! I didn't know what color I wanted to do the sky in, so I just screwed around with it :D

Yeah, just waiting on the other cf pieces and it should "flow" better.
