I'm thinking about buying some 16x7.5" Borbet Type Es for my E30 1991 318i. I've heard that these rims have an ET30 offset, but I'm not sure.
My question, if anyone knows the answer, is will these rims with 205/50/16s fit and not rub? My car has H&R Sports and Bilstein Sports that lower it about 1.5" all around.
Lastly, any comments about Borbet Type Es - good or bad?

I have type C's with the same set up, but they are an et 30 and they fit fine. A higher et might not fit. 205/50/ is the proper tire as well.
Check the offset on the inside of the wheel. The following might help.

Your original size was 14x6.5 et 24.
Thanks for the information. Do you have any pictures of your car with the Type C's mounted?
From what I read today, tire rack supplies a 10mm hubcentric spacer when you but Type E's from them.

I posted some misinformation. 14.6.5 baskets are et 30, 15x7 baskets were et 24.
Are the 10 mm spacers they are giving you hubcentric? Im sure they would be if the tire rack is sending them to you. Non HC's might cause shimmy, e30's are bad enough as it is.
The pic is not the best angle, and is before the suspention was changed.
My unconfirmed source said they were hubcentric.
Those look nice. I can't wait to get these dented up bottlecaps off my car.
