The Historic Sportscar Races are at Barber this weekend, anyone planning on attending? I'll be there on Saturday, parked in the other camps corral (PCA). See www.barbermotorsports.com for details.

Crap - new that was coming up -

We're heading to P'cola to see the nephews and scout wedding locales; etc.

Take some shots of the Cool old cars for me please.

Esp if George lets the Lotus 7's out of the museum for a RUn....

Wonder who' you've got to snuggle up to to get George to let you Drive one of those puppies. :confused

I still want to drive the 968.... :devillook I'll go slow - honest.... :evil2

I snapped a few that I will download as soon as I can. The weekend was great, I little windy on Sat, but Sunday was perfect. The best racing of the weekend were the Mini's (originals) drifting the kink at WOT :redspot

Doh, I'm going to Chagganooga (daughter's pronunciation, not mine :D ), otherwise I'd endure I-20 to come see this.

None of the museum cars were on the track.

The coolest cars I saw were a couple of early TransAm series Camaros and Mustangs. There were a few modern TransAm Mustangs running, and a shitload of old sports coupes, roadsters, and sedans. Mostly small-bore stuff.

Two 10-year old Porsche Cup 911s showed up, too. The turnout was quite small - maybe 200 cars max.
