Hey guys, I'm looking for your opinion on a little non-issue ive been having.
The background: I work on a family friend's farm occasionally, and being on break now, I decided to do some community service hours (graduation req.). It has snowed recently up here in NY and that along with runoff and usual farm conditions makes for a sloppy driveway to the barn.
The issue: Whenever I hit some deep slush or a puddle (enough to get some spray action and get some mud on the windshield) the charge light would flicker dimly for a few seconds.
Ground strap getting wet? Aux. belt getting wet and slipping? (no squealing though and its pretty tight). The alternator itself is Deffinitly dry... and I imagine that would be a whole different set of probelms if that was really wet.
Just wondering the cause. Otherwise running fine, next week I'll likely hit 230,000. :redspot
