Ugh, one thing after another and I dunno why.

I fixed my starter problem the other day (it was a bad battery). So I took it to the beach with me on a trip... Well, the thermostat is now broken I think, because its saying the engine temp is on the red line. but its not smoking, the fan turns on and everything. It looks normal.

And Once its running for a while now, it take 4 trys to start it! I turn the key, click click, starts, dies instantly. Even if I put gas on it, it does that. And everytime on the 4th try to start it, it works....

My heater doesn't work anymore either... Thats right, I think I screwed something up big time. Since I took the A/C blower out the Heater doesn't work. I don't think I unplugged anything for the heater, I only took out the A/C blower. but anyway its not working and here in oregon. IT SUCKS. I had to drive with my windows down because the windows kept fogging up and I almost crashed like 5 times. That being because the heater doesn't work and it just fogs up the windshield like a biotch.... Im just frustrated now...

Not to mention that there is just a lot of stuff I wish I could do to the car that I either have no idea what to do or I don't have the money...

is your heater blower fan working?

if you have the right-most knob on the heater-control console turned so it's letting air thru the top and/or bottom.....you should be able to feel the heat when your driving (especially @ freeway speeds). if you don't feel any heat, either: the heater-control cable might be broken, possibly causing the heater valve to be stuck in the closed position (it hooks directly to the left-knob on that same console); or the heater-core is blocked, not allowing any coolant to flow thru it.

if the blower fan is turning on: u might need to recheck the wires going to the blower switch. since the a/c has it's own blower motor and it overrides the heater blower-motor, it might still be stuck in that override 'position' and not allowing the heater blower to turn on.
