Just called my dealer looking for some, and apparently it isn't available any more. Do you guys use any other products now that you like as much or better?

Is your delaer still an authorized 1z distributor? If they are not, that may be the reason why the product 'is no longer available'.

Take a look at the 1z website to view their products as well as find an authorized dealer in your area.

As for alternative products, try 303.

I think Ffrogs was refering to the BMW dealer. Looks like the best alternative is an online dealer.

Oh ok, gotcha. Makes more sense now.

Yes, I meant the BMW dealer. Thanks for clarifying, and I have found I can order from Pelican Parts, so I'm doing that.

Yeah, the guy in the parts department was really curious, too. Apparently BMW has a replacement rubber dressing that they will be distributing from now on. The parts guy will try it out and let me know how it is.

I suspect that BMW found that they could get this new stuff a little bit cheaper, so they contracted with the new organization for distribution. I'm sure it is going to be a good product.

If I'm down there some time next week (it's a forty minute drive, so I try to save up the stuff I'm buying so I don't have to go very often) I'll try to snap a picture of the new stuff and post it here. No promises, though.

There are people who work for dealers on this board who can do it, too.

Go to Pelican Parts, like I mentioned above. Then just do a search for "gummi." Otherwise see if this link works:

http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopcart/BE21/POR_BE21_weathr_pg2.htm#item10

You will see it listed there in two sizes, 75 ml and 100 ml. Apparently the 75 ml size was the BMW-distributed item, and is therefore no longer available. But the 100ml size is there for $7 each. Shipping seems to be $5.50 for the cheapest, so buy a couple to cut down on per-item cost.

And the link that David posted has a list of online and storefront dealers.
