What size wheels and tires? What treadware rating? Short shifter listed in your sig installed?
MaloventEvil 03-24-2005, 02:45 AM i meant the rubber itself, the wheel is stock. the short shifter is installed.

What size and brand of tires? (what's the wheel size? I don't know and it could matter in some of the Street Touring classes)
Anything else? different sway bars? open air intake? anything different than how it came off the boat other than the tires and short shifter??
sfzBimmer2 03-24-2005, 02:53 AM Technically, the spoiler and the short shifter would bump you into E Street Prepared, but no one locally (or even regionally) would notice or care if you ran in F Stock. Only at the national level would people be nitpicky about those mods. Go out and have fun against some American Muscle! :stickoutt

I am thinking more about the Street Touring classes (STX or STU) depending on wheel and tires.
MaloventEvil 03-24-2005, 02:56 AM tires are: 225/60-15
MaloventEvil 03-24-2005, 02:57 AM would it matter if i said the spoiler was a factory spoiler that was an option from the dealer for this particular model?

With a displacement of 4.4 liters, he'd fit into STX (if he had 8" or smaller wheels wth 225 or smaller tires). If the wheels were bigger, than I suppose STU would work. (Up to a 275 tire width)
It won't be much fun going against WRXs and STI/EVOs at the local level, though. I recommend F Stock :buttrock

Yeah, then it's just the short shifter that matters.

Not after the short shifter was installed. If your tires have a treadware rating of 140 or higher I would think you can run in STX. Under 140 then ESP.

Do it right and run the car in the correct class. WRX/ITR/CooperS = STX. EVO/STI = STU
Bavarian_6shot 03-24-2005, 03:58 AM I need to work on my exit speeds. Anyone ever bothered about the possible damage to your car on an auto-x track...
MaloventEvil 03-24-2005, 04:01 AM its a 4.0L, so whats the final decision? i run with AWD monsters and get owned? is this the correct class?

Since you haven't told us what your wheel width is or what treadware your tires are... either STX, STU, or ESP depending on your answers. Your shifter takes you out of any stock class.
MaloventEvil 03-24-2005, 02:35 PM wheel width? you mean the rim? everything is stock, i think its like 7.25 or something. I dont know where to find my tires' treadware, thats why I have not posted it. The tires are Kumho ECSTA KH11's (not a high performance tire)

Kind of OT, but a Mustang Cobra was totalled at our Delta Region AutoX this past weekend. Went off of the runway and into a huge tree :( The driver was okay, but the car is a disaster.

If you ask for help we need to know the details on what you have or we can give you poor advice. I don't know your wheel width either so that's why I asked. It's your car so I figured you would know. The treadware rating is usually on the sidewall of the tire by the other tire info (load range, temp range, etc...) If it's not you can look it up at www.kumhousa.com or www.tirerack.com (It's probably in the 300's)
Here are your choices depending on what you have:
STX. Wheels up to 8" wide. Tire max width of 245 Treadware 140 or higher
STU No limitation on wheel width. Max tire width of 275. Treadware 140 or higher
ESP No limits on wheels. Any DOT legal tire (includes all the competition "R" compounds)
MaloventEvil 03-24-2005, 03:49 PM i will definitly be in STX
