Presently I am running a 93 325i in local autox. Eventually, because of family size growth, I may go to a 5 series E34 or 39. I don't want to stop autocrossing.
Anyone out there autocrossing a 5 series? What kind of mods? How's your success rates? Success against 3 series cars?

Autocrossed an M5 for a while.
It was fun. quick enough that some good driving can embarass less well driven vettes and such.
a 540i should be just as fun

An E34 M5 or E39 540i is what I think I'd get. Anyone else out there?

I saw a guy run a 540i this weekend in FS. He did really well, I thought. Sorry, no pics though.
